Driver Killed In Lodi Car Accident

An unidentified person was killed in a fatal solo car accident in Lodi on April 12, 2011, around 3:00 p.m. on Peltier Road near Davis Road in San Joaquin County, approximately 474 miles from San Diego. According to California Highway Patrol Officer Angel Arcero, the victim was driving a Toyota Sedan that struck a tree due for unknown reasons.

Acrero stated that the vehicle was consumed by flames within a few minutes of the car accident. The exact cause of this car accident is still under investigation. If it is found that the driver lost control of his vehicle due to unmarked roads or bad condition of the driveway, then the government entity in charge of maintaining the roads might be held liable for his wrongful death.
