29-year-old Quan Campbell and 21-year-old Amber Thompson were killed in a rollover car crash that occurred on January 1, 2012, around 6:30 a.m. left of El Evado Road in Victorville. According to the San Bernardino County coroner’s office, Campbell lost control of the vehicle while trying to round a curve.
The impact of the collision made the vehicle rollover several times before coming to rest. Both Campbell and Thompson sustained life-threatening injuries and were pronounced dead at the accident scene. Another passenger in the car sustained major injuries and was immediately airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment. According to the authorities, the vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed when this tragic car accident occurred.
It is unclear as to what led to this serious rollover car wreck. Unfortunately, the driver’s negligent driving led to this tragic accident. As a result, the passengers’ family members should immediately seek counsel from an experienced San Bernardino County car accident lawyer who would educate them about their legal rights about how to get compensation to cover funeral and burial costs, loss of anticipated earnings, loss of love, care and companionship, and other accident-related damages.
The injured passengers may also file a personal injury claim to obtain compensation to cover medical, hospital and treatment cost, and other accident-related damages.
Our personal injury law office sends sincere condolences to victims’ family members and friends. We also pray that the injuries suffered by the injured victim heal soon and do not leave any long-term effects.
