The ex-Media Chief for the popular O’Reilly Factor, a talk show on politics hosted by Bill O’Reilly, passed away after a tragic Santa Rosa, CA motorcycle accident that took his life. He had been riding along a winding Point Reyes-Petaluma Road to his mother’s house in an effort to avoid traffic on Highway 101. The 59-year-old resident of Santa Rosa, California, was on his way to have dinner with his mother, something he did once a week.
The deadly California motorcycle accident occurred when Amen collided with a van outside of Petaluma just between San Antonio and Hicks Valley roads, at 6:15 p.m. on August 12, 2009. Both the Ford and the Ducati caught on fire at the moment of impact. The Ford hit a gate and cattle just east of the roadway and a small brushfire ensued from the motor wreck. The driver of the truck left with minor cuts and scrapes on his arms. Amen had been thrown from his motorcycle and landed in a ditch at the side of the roadway. He died at the scene.
