One Killed In Fallbrook Car Accident

Angela Dawn Mendez, 33, was killed in a fatal San Diego County car accident that occurred on November 20, 2010, around 4:30 p.m. According to authorities, Mendez was killed when her SUV swerved off Interstate 15 in Fallbrook in North County San Diego and rolled down an embankment.

According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office, Mendez’s vehicle rolled over several times as it went down an embankment before it came to rest on a service road. Paramedics pronounced Mendez dead at the auto accident scene. The exact cause of this fatal car accident remains under investigation.

Unfortunately, it is unclear from the facts of the story why the accident occurred.
