By San Diego Car Accident Lawyer on April 23, 2012 - Comments off

Two people sustained serious injuries in a head-on San Diego car crash that took place on April 20 on state Route 56 (SR-56). According to California Highway Patrol, a woman driving an Infinity G-35 hit a small SUV head-on, trapping both drivers, near the Camino Del Sur off-ramp. Witnesses reported to CHP that the woman was driving the wrong way. Just five minutes later, the collision happened.
Both the injured victims were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. From the present facts, it is unclear as to how this traffic collision occurred. Sacramento Solo-Car Crash into House Kills Driver

By San Diego Car Accident Lawyer on July 25, 2011 - Comments off

Sac Car Accident The driver of a small compact car died in a car crash that occurred on July 21, 2011, around 10 p.m. at 15th Avenue of Franklin Boulevard. According to Sacramento police Lt. Steve Winton, the vehicle crashed through a wrought iron fence, crossed over about 150 feet of a parking lot and landed halfway into a house. The crash caused a gas leak that firefighters had to shut off before they could pull the victim out of the vehicle.
The injured motorist was immediately transported to UC Davis Medical Center to receive treatment but was pronounced dead within few minutes of arrival. Fortunately the woman who was inside the house was not injured. It becomes the responsibility of the investigating officers to determine what made the car driver veer into the apartment.
There are several questions here. Did alcohol or drugs play a part? Was the driver fatigued at the time of the crash? Was speed or distraction a factor? Was there an auto defect or mechanical malfunction that caused the driver to lose control? If it is found that the motorist lost control of the vehicle due to an automobile failure, then the auto maker will be held liable for victim’s wrongful death.
The victim’s family members should immediately seek counsel from a Sacramento car wreck lawyer who would educate them about their legal rights and options. An experienced auto accident attorney will help the family members obtain compensation to cover funeral and burial costs, loss of anticipated income, loss of love, care and companionship, and other accident-related damages.
Our law office offers sincere condolences to all those who knew and loved the victim for such a heart rendering loss.
