Santa Paula Woman Injured In Oxnard Car Wreck
26-year-old Cecilia Jimenez suffered serious injuries in a car wreck that occurred on November 3, 2011, around 8:20 a.m. in a traffic collision at Central and Rose avenues in Oxnard. According to the authorities, Jimenez failed to stop at a red light and traveled into the intersection.
The vehicle hit a traffic light pole and then overturned onto its roof. Jimenez suffered a possible concussion and cut to her right hand and was immediately transported to Ventura County Medical Center to receive medical treatment. The investigation is in process to determine why Jimenez failed to stop the vehicle at the red light and whether there was a loss of control.
Jimenez or her family members should immediately seek counsel from an experienced Ventura County car wreck lawyer who would educate them about their legal rights. If there occurred a loss of control due to a mechanical malfunction, then Jimenez can file a personal injury claim against the auto maker to obtain compensation to cover treatment, medical and hospital costs, loss of wages, loss of earning capacity, and other accident-related damages.
Our personal injury law office sincerely hopes that the injuries suffered by Jimenez heal soon.
