Fatal Victorville Car Wreck on SR-138 Kills One, Injures Five
An unidentified female was killed and five other suffered serious injuries in a tragic four-vehicle wreck that occurred on November 23, 2011, around 4:10 p.m. on eastbound Highway 138 in the south Antelope Valley. According to California Highway Patrol Officer Krystal Carter, this chain car accident led to a highway shut down in both the directions for several hours.
From the present information, it is unclear what caused this major car accident that injured four people. Since it was a multiple-vehicle car accident, any of the drivers involved could have been responsible for causing the accident. If it is found that any of the drivers was driving negligently or recklessly, then that driver might be held liable for the deceased’s wrongful death and the injuries suffered by others.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s family members should immediately seek counsel from an experienced San Bernardino County car accident lawyer who would educate them about their legal rights. This lawyer may also help the injured victims obtain compensation to cover treatment, medical and hospital costs.
Our personal injury law office sends our deepest condolences to the victims’ facilities. We sincerely hope that the injuries suffered by the victims do not prove fatal.
