Mojave Desert Rollover Car Wreck Leaves Driver Dead and Three Passengers Hurt
A 50-year-old woman died and three others suffered serious injuries in a rollover car wreck that occurred on July 25, 2011, around 1:33 a.m. along Interstate 40 (I-40) in Barstow, by mile marker 61. According to the California Highway Patrol Officers, their green 2001 Ford overturned after a tire failed. The vehicle ended up in the center divider of the road.
One of the injured women was pronounced dead at the accident scene, whereas the other three were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The investigation is still being conducted. Unfortunately, it is unclear from the facts of the story why the accident occurred. Defect in the tire appears to be an apparent reason for the accident. The tire manufacturer may be held responsible for this crash.
The deceased’s family members should immediately seek counsel from an experienced San Bernardino County rollover car crash lawyer who would help them learn their legal rights and options. The victims and their family members may also be eligible to obtain compensation to cover funeral and burial costs, loss of love, care and companionship, and other accident-related damages.
A traffic accident lawyer would also help the injured victims obtain fair and timely compensation to cover treatment, medical and hospital costs, loss of wages, loss of earning capacity, and other accident-related damages.
