Mom And Kids Injured In Vista Car Accident
An unidentified woman and her two daughters, aged 4 and 5 years, suffered serious injuries in a rear end car accident that occurred on April 7, 2011 around 4:30 p.m. on southbound East Vista Way at Barsby Street in Vista.
According to San Diego County Sheriff's Deputy Yvan Rogers, the female driver was unable to stop her vehicle due to unknown reasons and rear ended a pickup truck. The injured woman suffered a broken leg and a knee injury and was transported to Sharp Hospital for treatment. The victim’s 5-year-old daughter was treated for her injuries at Tri-City Medical Center and the 4-year-old one was airlifted to Children's Hospital to receive treatment for her head fracture.
From the available information it is not known who will be held responsible for the accident, damages, and the injuries. Now it becomes the responsibility of the investigating officers to determine what made the female driver lose control of her vehicle. If is found that the victim lost control due to a mechanical failure or any design issue, then the automotive manufacturer might be held liable for the injuries suffered by victim and her daughters.
The injured woman is advised to immediately consult with an experienced San Diego car accident attorney who would educate her about the legal options and help her obtain compensation to pay for medical treatment and hospitalization costs, loss of earnings, and pain and suffering.
Our personal injury law office hopes that the injuries suffered by the victims heal soon.
