Baldwin County Auto Accident Kills Woman
A 31-year old woman lost her life in a fatal Baldwin County, GA car accident that happened on April 12, 2010 around 5 a.m. The auto accident happened near Milledgeville.
The victim, Rita Rose of Warthen, was driving along Highway 49 near mile marker 8, when she was hit by a semi-truck that was in the opposite lane. Reportedly, a tractor trailer caused the accident as it came over the hill and crashed into two cars, one of them being the semi-truck. The other drivers received minor injuries but Rose lost her life.
Our office wishes to extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Rose’s friends and family. It is really tragic losing someone you love when it’s no fault of their own. Early morning driving is very dangerous and requires one to be very vigilant. The main reason behind traffic accidents and crashes during these hours is lack of visibility. All drivers must ensure to drive safe and keep an eye out for fellow drivers.
