Woman Dies in a Fatal San Diego Rollover Car Accident
A 55-year old woman was killed in a San Diego rollover car accident that occurred on February 23, 2010, when her sport utility vehicle was clipped by a taxi and rolled over on Interstate 5 (I-5) near the Golden Hill and East Village areas of San Diego. This fatal auto accident took place around 7:45 a.m.
The cab driver, 47-year old Andai Ogbagebri of San Diego, was changing lanes when his southbound 2006 Ford Crown Victoria hit the rear end of the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer being driven by the victim, Phyllis Lorraine Kirk, 65, of San Diego. The traffic collision made the SUV skid out of control and flip over until it came to rest upside down. Kirk died at the scene. Ogbagebri was uninjured.
