Mission Viejo Car Accident Seriously Injures Orange County Teen
A 17-year old Lake Forest teenager was critically injured in an Orange County car accident on February 7, 2010, around 1:50 p.m. on Hidalgo near the intersection of Vista Del Lago in Mission Viejo.

The victim, Brent Sirignano, was a passenger in a 2006 Scion. Brent’s friend, Parker Kalmen, also a 17-year old from Lake Forest, appeared to have been speeding when the car lost traction and slid across the roadway crashing into a tree, according to eye witnesses. The car collided, passenger side first, into the tree. The two students were transported to Mission Hospital, where Brent is now fighting for his life at CHOC. He is in a medically-induced coma. Kalmen was uninjured.
Our office wishes to convey our sincere prayers to the family and friends of Brent Sirignano. We wish for a speedy recovery for Brent. We would also like to add that drivers need to be more careful on the stretch of Vista Del Lago in Mission Viejo. Speeding on this road can lead to serious consequences.
