If drivers are under 21, there is a zero tolerance rule for any traces of alcohol found within the person's blood stream. If you are over 21, the legal limit is 0.08% blood alcohol content but you can be convicted of drunk driving with less than that limit if there is a finding that you were driving while impaired. It is important to always err on the side of less alcohol when driving, as alcohol impairs our judgments and cars and other motorized vehicles are dangerous objects that can easily injure or kill others when misused.
