Robert Johnson's wife, Margaret Johnson, past away this last Saturday at a San Diego hospital according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office. Margaret Johnson's death followed that of her husband's on Thursday. Margaret, 57, and Robert, 62, were found in their Dodge Caravan by San Diego County officials after the couple plunged into the San Diego Bay. According to San Diego Harbor police, neither of them were breathing and were unconscious when they were found.

We've written about the Johnsons' San Diego minivan accident before (here, here, and here). You can read more about Ms. Johnson's passing in this SignOnSanDiego.com story.

The married couple of 19-years had just left the Sheraton where they had spent the evening visiting their family and their 2-year-old grandson. San Diego investigators are still trying to figure out why it is that their van plunged into the San Diego Bay.

The Johnsons' family has now lost two of their loved ones in the last week. However, we must remember that some good came from Robert's death who's kidney's will help the lives of two others in Southern California. This surely reflects the couple's selflessness and love for other people. Our thoughts are still with the Johnson family.
