Louis Andres Mendoza Killed When Car Veers Off I-5 In Camp Pendleton
The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office reported on Sunday morning that a 27-year-old male driver died on Saturday night when his Toyota Corolla veered off northbound Interstate 5 near Camp Pendleton in North San Diego County. The auto accident happened just south of Basilone Road.
San Diego County authorities do not know why the man veered off the freeway but several other motorists stopped to help along with Camp Pendleton paramedics and the California Highway patrol.

San Diego County officials wills probably continue to investigate what happened exactly. Mendoza may have veered off because of lack of sleep, driving under the influence or perhaps another driver. No one is sure at this point.
