Oceanside Multiple Vehicle Car Crash Leaves One Person Seriously Injured

On March 12, a bit before 7:30 a.m., there was an Oceanside multi-vehicle car crash on I-5 near the 76 freeway. An Oceanside Fire Department dispatcher said that one person was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital. Another person was rumored to have been trapped but that was never confirmed. As many as six vehicles may have been involved in this Oceanside car accident.

Lanes were cleared off after the car accident as early as 8 a.m. but traffic was backed up until about 8:45 a.m. Traffic, however, is the least of the concern. One person was seriously injured and about six other vehicles were damaged. Facts about the crash have not been reported but it is very probable that this Oceanside car accident was caused by the recklessness of an irresponsible driver. Hopefully, even if that is not the case but San Diego drivers should make sure to be alert and awake in the early morning so that car crashes like this one may be avoided.
